My passion for everything flowers began in 1999 on a market stall in Banbury, Oxfordshire. As the years have passed I have worked doing many jobs, always returning to my passion of flowers.

I opened Amie Bone Flowers in 2005 and I have watched the business grow from a few bunches in buckets, to a fully stocked shop with deliveries arriving every couple of days direct from Holland. I now have a team of experienced florists that work with me, and we love a challenge. I have always been amazed at what you can create with fresh flowers, and being a self taught florist some moments have been very challenging!

Since establishing the flower shop and building a good reputation locally, I now enjoy strong business relationships with venues for weddings and events in Watford and the surrounding areas. Being trusted by venues to liase with their clients is fantastic, we get to work closely together and ideas bounce from client to client - every event is different in the same venue. I really enjoy this and the venue never looks the same twice!

I have also built up strong business relationships with the funeral directors in the local area - I am proud to be the recommended florist for national and independent funeral directors in Watford and surrounding areas.

As the business has grown I have kept investing into it, expanding into new things slowly. I now also offer chair cover hire, glassware hire, bay tree hire and lots more.

If someone would have said to me 5 years ago "Amie, in 5 years you'll be doing all this", I'd have called them a "liar!". I am so lucky to do my job, everyday is different, I get to work with some fantastic people doing something I am really passionate about.
