Banking Hall
Cornhill, London
Nicole and Toby chose the beautiful Banking Hall in London to to be the venue for their stunning wedding breakfast after their Jewish service at Bevin Marks Synagogue. I was introduced to the couple and their families by their wedding planner Katy Cresner.
Nicole and her Mum Sue wanted something elegant and sophisticated to adorn the 19 guest tables, so we opted for 2.5 metre tall blush pink cherry blossom trees surrounded by gardens of peonies, roses, hydrangeas and herbs. The scent was divine as you can imagine!
On the lower tables we created similar rings of flowers and herb foliages with cylinder vases and floating candles inside.
The ceilings in the venue are so tall that the contrast between the two designs just looked breathtaking. From standing on the balcony above I was overwhelmed with pride as my design came to life before my eyes. The lighting looked amazing with the room awash with pink hues, making the trees look even more impressive on the cotton grey table linen and showing off the silver bronte charger plates, sourced from our friends at Duchess & Butler.
Upstairs at the drinks reception we dressed the escort card table with a huge arrangement of roses, peonies, stocks, and hanging tulips, holding masses of hanging fishbowls, some containing candles and others holding beautiful sweet avalanche rose heads.
The ornate staircase housed hurricane vases and pillar candles with blush and cream petals. It looked lovely, a real entrance for the happy couple!
It was a pleasure to work with Katy and her team and I look forward to working with you again very soon.
Sue and Neil (Nicole's Mum and Dad) were a joy and we had many laughs on the run up to the wedding...didn't we Neil!!! I really appreciated the text too that I got on Monday evening thanking me for the amazing flowers and service they had received from us.
Mazel Tov Nicole and Toby with lots of love Team Bone,
