Funeral flower etiquette tells us that it is more appropriate to send your floral tribute to the Funeral Director than to a home address due to the upset it may cause. However, sometimes you may not know the details of the funeral, in this case, it is very important that the bereaved is aware of the delivery.
Deliveries to a place of worship or crematorium are not recommended as there is often nobody available to receive the order.
When you add your flowers to cart, you will first be asked for the postcode of where your flowers should be delivered to. This would generally be the postcode of your Funeral Director but may be different in other cases. Following on from that you will be asked to enter your billing details followed by more specific delivery details including delivery time and any specific instructions for us. We will deliver your flowers to your Funeral Director two hours prior to the funeral, so please note that when you are asked at the checkout for the funeral time, please put the time of the actual funeral and we will deliver two hours prior to that time to your Funeral Director.
For same day funeral flowers (LOCAL ONLY), we require a minimum of 6 hours notice from the time of the funeral. For example, if the funeral is at 4pm, the order must be made by 10am as we would need to have the flowers at the Funeral Director two hours prior to the funeral time, which in this case would be 2pm, thus giving our team 4 hours to work on your order. For same day funeral flowers we would also ask you to make contact with us over the phone (01923 662 647) once you have placed your order online so that there is no doubt. Please note that it can take a few minutes for an order to come through to us, even once payment has been made, this is due to Worldpay's online processing checks.
