ten year anniversary

shangri-la hotel, at the shard
Wow! Time flies…
To think that 10 years has passed so quickly and how massively the business has changed from the very beginning!!!
From that old market stall in Banbury, Oxfordshire, to a party in the sky with some of London’s finest wedding industry professionals!
For our 10 year anniversary we celebrated in style!
We are lucky enough to work in some of the most beautiful venues across the country and The Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London is top of the list!
When we were offered this beautiful venue to hold our 10 year celebration in, it was like a dream come true!

With sensational views across town we used this as a backdrop for our autumnal coloured floral designs, taking most of the inspiration for the flowers from the giant amber coloured crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.
We created two tall arrangements of gladioli, amaryllis, roses, hydrangea and foliage to cascade like a giant carpet onto the floors in front of the vast windows.
A glorious flower wall with an ornate mirror to it's centre adorned one of the walls in the ballroom and was used a a great photo backdrop by our guests.
My good friend (and best baker in town!!) Elizabeth from Elizabeth's Cake Emporium created a show stopping gold cake that stood centre stage on a bed of blooms to match our other venue styling.
Dom & Alex from Rendevouz Events lit the Ren Ballroom with beautiful lighting and provided great music with a DJ set and live saxophonist which was just perfect and really enjoyed by all.
Invitations to the "hottest night in town” - as described by one of our guests - were designed and produced by our good friends at Armorial London. We love working with Chris and his talented team as they always nail it for us. Our photographer, San from Sanshine Photography never dissappoints with her wonderful images, these are all just stunning!
I would never have thought at the very beginning that we could possibly take the business to the heights that we are at now. Sometimes, I must admit, I stand back and look and admire what we create for weddings and events, and have such an enormous sense of pride. I get very emotional to think where we started.
I would like to offer my extended thanks to my amazing team of excellent florists, my drivers, my container manager, my shop team, my PA and my wonderful husband that allows me to channel my energy into bringing my visions and designs to life.
I would like to thank everyone that joined us at the party and we look forward to what is coming up in the next….. stay tuned!
With Lots of Love,
Amie x
